Monarch 10EE Toolroom Lathe

If you've been looking for a nice Monarch 10EE, this is the one!     It was originally delivered to Delco-Remy (division of GM) in Anderson Indiana on 7/12/1955.    They used it in their toolroom for many years.   Obviously, it was well maintained.     I purchased it a little while ago and addressed a few items that needed TLC.    The saddle and apron have been serviced with a couple of new gears as well as replacing all the Bijur metering valves.    The compound was hand scraped.
Taper attachment, tailstock, GS2 VFD, Acu-Rite DRO, new PBA 8" 3-jaw and 6-jaw scroll chuck, Shars 4-jaw independent chuck, 5C collet chuck, collets, soft jaws, tool holders, etc...
It comes with a VFD and 3HP motor.    Based on the current pulley arrangement, the max is 1750rpm.    This could be changed using different pulleys to get the original 2500rpm.    The VFD is enclosed in a NEMA enclosure with main disconnect, circuit breaker, contacts, etc...     Also, the enclosure and lathe bed have nice exhaust fans to ensure cool operation.
The taper attachment and tailstock are in good functional condition.     Comes with complete documentation.
As you can see from the photos, it's a great toolroom lathe and exemplifies the old saying that "they don't make them like that anymore'.
